Assessment Case Section 2

Parking

Back-in Angle Parking

Officer Barney Fife and Gomer Pyle have been recruited by the City of Rexburg and BYUI to  patrol the parking issues around campus.  They have been trained by special forces in the local government’s parking specialists division to recognize the difference between a diagonal parked car and a reverse diagonal parked car.

Officer Fife has a buddy who teaches in the CIT department at BYUI.  He asked him if he could get his students to write an application that will help drivers learn the difference between the two parking methods.  Since the city keeps developing new and creative ways to park cars, you will need to use Application Controller Implementation to handle the current methods and for ease of adding future parking methods.

Requirements:

1st method – Print out Diagonal Parking Instructions:

1. Find a parking space

2. Turn on right signal light

3. Turn right into parking space between yellow lines.

2nd method – Print out Reverse Diagonal Parking Instructions:

1. Find a parking space

2. Pull up car-length, stop, and turn on right signal light

3. Check for cars behind you and carefully back into parking space between       yellow lines.
